Ruby Réglisse

I love this pattern, but I think I need to try it in a crisper fabric with a tiny bit more weight to it. It’s the Réglisse dress pattern from Deer & Doe in Paris.

This is Day 4 of Me Made May ’13, a photo from Day 3 is here if you’re interested.

Oooh, it’s lovely! Out of curiousity, what was the problem with the lightweight fabric that made you think something heavier would be better?

The fabric was just a bit tricky to sew with, more a comment on my skills than anything 🙂

Oh wow, that’s the dress I want to make! I mean really, I want a red Reglisse, but I can’t find the fabric. I actually bought some red linen, but I’ve now decided that it’s too crisp for the bias bodice, so I have the opposite problem from you.
